rancakmedia.com – Indonesian students achieve success in the 2021 International Eduversal Mathematics Competition (I-EMC) which was attended by more than 1.000 participants from 53 countries such as Australia, America, England, Japan, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, South Africa and Brazil.

I-EMC 2021 is divided into three levels: Elementary (9-12 years), Junior (13-15 years) and Senior (16-18 years). In this mathematics competition, students from all over the world can test their mathematical strength at an international level.

This competition uses three time zones, namely Asia, Europe-Africa and America, so participants from all over the world can easily enter.

The award for the achievements of Indonesian students came from the Head of the National Favorites Center (Puspresnas) of the Ministry of Teaching and Culture, Asep Sukmayadi, said at the "I-EMC 2021 Virtual Awards Ceremony" which was held online. Saturday, March 27 2021.

"Congratulations to participants from various countries who have demonstrated their success, even though the world is currently still suffering from the Covid-19 outbreak," said Asep Sukmayadi. On a similar occasion, I-EMC President Tian Abdul Aziz said that this online mathematics competition aims to motivate students to study in the midst of an epidemic.

"This event certainly has a special magnetic force because it makes it easier for students to take part in international competitions without going through various national selections in their respective countries, because this competition is an open competition," said Tian.

He hopes that the I-EMC held by Eduversal can stimulate students' power of crisis thinking and creativity.

The 2021 I-EMC winners are divided into 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners from each level as "Absolute Champions"

Apart from that, there are gold medal winners for the top 5% of participants, silver medals for the next 10% of the best participants, bronze medals for the next 15% of the best participants, and honorable mentions for the next 20% of participants. best participant.
