Comparison of Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Vs S20 FE
Rancakmedia.com – Should You Upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE or S20 FE Based on This Side by Side Comparison?. A number of improvements were made to the Galaxy S21 FE from the previous model, but was it really necessary to make the switch? Here's a comparison of the two phones to consider:
Design of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE
If the Galaxy S21's screen has caught your eye, you might want to consider upgrading to the Galaxy S21 FE. Because the camera module has a contour cutout, this is different from the Galaxy S20 FE which is made flush with the back.
The Galaxy S21 FE also looks stylish with colored bodies, especially Purple, White, Graphite and Olive. However, this alternative is not as much as the Galaxy S20 FE which offers a choice of Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud Navy, Cloud White, Cloud Red and Cloud Orange.
The dimensions of the Galaxy S21 FE are more compact than its predecessor. It measures 155.7 x 74.5 x 7.9 mm and weighs 177 grams. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S20 FE has dimensions of 159.8 x 74.5 x 8.4 mm and weighs 190 grams.
Neither has a 3.5mm audio connector and are water and dust resistant according to the IP68 standard. Both the Galaxy S21 FE and S20 FE include an on-screen fingerprint, two stereo speakers and NFC.
Samsung Galaxy S21 screen
To beautify the Galaxy S21 FE screen, Samsung makes an LCD panel. Even though the size is reduced to 6.4 inches, the panel used is Dynamic AMOLED 2X with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz and supports HDR10 + so that the presentation of colors will be more attractive.
120 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ are both supported by the 6.5-inch Full HD+ Galaxy S20 FE.
Interestingly, the Galaxy S21 FE doesn't have a 20:9 ratio like its predecessor. Samsung made it 19.5:9 giving it a new screen display.
To provide an even more immersive experience, the bezel surrounding the screen is made even smaller than the S20 FE. Here's the comparison.
Samsung Galaxy S21 processor
Responding to the Galaxy S21 FE, Samsung has released an Exynos 2100 processor and an 8GB RAM variant. With a 5 nm construction, it is said to provide 25 percent greater CPU performance than the Exynos 990 and 6/8 GB of RAM found in the Galaxy S20 FE.
The GPU used by the Galaxy S21 FE is Mali-G78 MP14. Samsung claims that the Galaxy S20 FE which uses the Mali-G77 MP11 GPU has 35 percent lower performance.
Samsung Galaxy S21 camera
As far as we know, the camera on the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is identical to that on the Galaxy S20. Here is the group division:
12 MP, f/1.8, 26mm (wide), 1/1.76″, 1.8µm, Dual Pixel PDAF, OIS \s12 MP, f/2.2, 13mm, 123˚ (ultrawide), \s8 MP, f/2.4, 76mm (telephoto), 1/4.5″, 1.0µm, PDAF, OIS, 3x optical zoom \s32 MP, f/2.2, 26mm (wide), 1/2.74″, 0.8µm (front camera) (front camera).
However, Samsung brings a number of stunning camera capabilities with the Galaxy S21 FE.
There's Dual Recording which would be great for generating vlogs and Object Reaser for removing things in images without needing to install third party software.
