The number of free internet packages provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture is different for each level of teaching, this is based on the level of needs for each level of teaching.

Details of free internet quota assistance for every level of education include:

  1. A total free internet quota of 20 GB (15 GB for study and 5 GB for public) is given to PAUD students and teachers.
  2. A total free internet quota of 35 GB (30 GB for study and 5 GB for the public) is given to elementary, middle and high school students and teachers.
  3. Free internet quota of 50 GB (45 GB for study and 5 GB for public) which will be given to students and lecturers at tertiary institutions.

The Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani said that free internet quota assistance would continue to be supported during the Covid-19 pandemic.

"The government will still provide support in the education sector and internet costs for pupils, students, university students and teachers," said Sri Mulyani.

News is circulating in the community that this free internet quota will be distributed in March 2021, but until now the Ministry of Education and Culture itself has not made a statement regarding the disbursement of the free internet quota.

  1. Prepare an active cellphone number
  2. Convey your active cellphone number to the school or college
  3. The state school or university will send your active cellphone number to the center.
