"Prospective students receiving KIP Merdeka Lectures who will register are exempt from the UTBK SBMPTN registration fee, and are exempt from semester tuition fees until graduation," said Kahar.

During registration time for PTN or PTS, only one registration is required, and can be used for all forms of pathway selection.
"If you don't pass SNMPTN, from now on you can use the same account for SBMPTN, just check it because with KIP registration you don't need to go in and out, register for SNMPTN don't pass then register for SBMPTN again," explained Kahar.
"It's enough to create an account once, it can be used all year round, even the previous year the account can still be used, all you have to do is update the new registration account."
Kahar welcomed prospective students who are interested in studying this year.
"Because with the Independent Lecture KIP, there is no longer any reason for students not to continue their education to a higher level," said Kahar.

Before applying to universities, prospective students should keep in mind the following dates:
- The creation and registration of student Lecture KIP accounts is carried out from February 2 to October 31, 2022.
- SNMPN registration from 7 February to 17 March 2022.
- SNMPTN registration will take place from 13 February to 27 February 2022.
- From March 22 to April 14 2022, you can register for the UTBK-SBMPTN.
