Safety Car MotoGP Mandalika for BMW M2 CS Racing
Rancakmedia.com – The BMW M2 CS Racing Safety Car MotoGP will be available for the 2022 season, starting on 6 March 2022 with the Grand Prix of Qatar. MotoGP's longstanding relationship with BMW and its Motorsport DNA will be further strengthened in 2022 with the official car from BMW M GmbH.
Today, together with the BMW M3 Competition, BMW Safety Cars appeared in front of 60,000 MotoGP fans at the Mandalika Circuit. After 25 years have passed, finally MotoGP is back in Indonesia and has become national pride.
Since 1999 worldwide, BMW is an Official Partner of MotoGP™ by engaging and supplying several types of BMW M vehicles as Safety Cars for MotoGP races around the world. In addition, BMW M vehicles are awarded to the best MotoGP racers.
For MotoGP 2022, Pertamina Grand Prix Indonesia, BMW M GmbH, BMW M3 Competition and the newest BMW M2 CS Racing will join the MotoGP racers.
The BMW M2 CS that was present on this occasion is the latest vehicle model which was just announced internationally on February 14, 2022 by taking advantage of the Anniversary Design to commemorate the 50th anniversary of BMW M (50 Jahre BMW M) (50 Jahre BMW M).

As well as an excellent engine that produces up to 450 horsepower, the race car is also supported by motorsport-specific technologies such as ABS and DSC, a mechanical Limited Slip Differential with separate pre-load and cooling, and carbon drive axles and roof.
For its position as a MotoGP™ Safety Car, the BMW M2 CS Racing only requires minor changes, including the addition of a light bar and headlights. The new BMW M2 CS Racing MotoGP™ Safety Cars livery marks its 50th anniversary and is based on the BMW M GmbH Anniversary emblem.
Complementing the BMW M Safety Car for the 2022 MotoGP™ season are the BMW M3 Competition, BMW M4 Competition, BMW M5 CS Safety Car, BMW M8 Competition Gran Coupé Safety Car, BMW X5 M Competition Medical Car, and two BMW M 1000 RR Safety Bikes.
The fully electric BMW i4 M50 Safety Car will also lead the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup, a series of electric motorcycles run under the MotoGP™ support package.
The BMW 330e M Sport Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) is equipped with BMW eDrive technology (PHEV). The combination of the 2.0L petrol engine and electric motor is capable of producing 252 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque, with the largest economy in its class.
