Russian President Vladimir Putin has extended his heartfelt greetings for Eid al-Adha 1447 H to Muslims across the globe. Specifically, he addressed the vibrant Muslim community within Russia, acknowledging their profound and significant contributions to the nation’s ongoing development.
In a statement released by the Kremlin, Russia’s presidential palace, and disseminated via the social media channels of the Russian Embassy in Jakarta on Wednesday, May 27, Putin conveyed, “I congratulate the Muslims of Russia on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.”
The President highlighted that Muslim communities consistently embrace and uphold the fundamental tenets of Islam while meticulously preserving the rich ancestral traditions associated with the widespread welcoming and celebration of Eid al-Adha.
According to Putin, Eid al-Adha serves as a pivotal moment for Muslims to deeply reflect on and internalize the core values of Islamic teachings, advocating for goodness, justice, compassion, and piety.
