Prabowo Reshuffles BGN Leadership: Dadan Hindayana and Two Deputies Replaced

President Prabowo Subianto has officially removed Dadan Hindayana from his position as Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN). Alongside this leadership shift, the President has also replaced the two Deputy Heads of the agency, Irjen Pol (Purn) Sony Sonjaya and Letjen TNI (Purn) Lodewijk Pusung.

To fill these vacancies, President Prabowo has appointed Nanik S. Deyang, who previously served as the Deputy Head for Public Communication and Investigation at the BGN, as the new leader. She will be supported by two newly appointed deputies: Agustina Arumsari and Mayjen TNI Trenggono. Agustina Arumsari brings extensive experience from her former role as Deputy Head of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), while Trenggono joins the agency after serving as Deputy President Director of PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara.

State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi announced the leadership shake-up at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday (June 2). During the briefing, which was broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube channel, Prasetyo emphasized the administration’s commitment to organizational excellence. “We require robust governance, seamless coordination, and leadership that can deliver results with precision and punctuality,” he stated.

The decision to restructure the BGN follows a rigorous 1.5-year monitoring and evaluation period overseen by President Prabowo. According to Prasetyo, the move was prompted by ongoing assessments of the agency’s performance, as well as critical feedback collected from the general public and beneficiaries of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program.

“After nearly 18 months of intensive monitoring and evaluation, the President has decided to implement a leadership transition at the National Nutrition Agency to ensure the program’s objectives are met,” Prasetyo concluded.
