- Click “OK.”
- After returning to the main window, click “Apply”.
- In the “Confirm Attribute Changes” window, choose between “Apply changes only to this folder” or “Apply changes to this folder, subfolders, and files.”
- Select "OK."
- A notification asking you to back up your file encryption key will appear. Click “Back up now”.
- Insert the USB flash drive into your computer, and follow the onscreen instructions to generate your encryption certificate and export to the USB drive.
Note that the last step is optional. But, if you miss it, you risk losing access to your encrypted files.
