SPT is a requirement. Individual taxpayers must submit their 2021 tax return by March 31, 2022, which is the deadline set by the government.
Meanwhile, tax reporting for the business category is four months after the end of the tax year, or before April 31, 2022 to be precise.
So how do you do your own personal online tax return? What are the conditions? So, here are the processes and documents that need to be prepared by taxpayers when dealing with them.
For information, historically there have been various documents required to fill out and report personal taxes, one of which is the EFIN (Electronic Filing Identification Number) (Electronic Filing Identification Number).
The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) issues EFINs to taxpayers who make electronic transactions with the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT).
On the other hand, individual taxpayers no longer need EFIN or tokens as a result of PER-04/PJ/2020. Because individual taxpayers are now required to attach an electronic certificate and password.
Furthermore, other documents needed by individual taxpayers to fill out SPT include Form 1721 A1 or A2 and other income data.
Employers are a good resource for taxpayers who need help with Form 1721 A1 or A2. This form must be reported when visiting the e-Filing site.
Then combined with other income data, it can be in the form of liabilities/debt, or even assets if any.
If you have extra income outside of your regular job, liabilities/debt, or assets, then have these facts ready so you can fill out your tax returns quickly.
