The work was carried out in partnership with WIR Firm, a group of companies specializing in technology, especially augmented reality (AR).
BRI Consumer Business Director Handayani claims that through the development of Metaverse, his party will provide virtual branches.
BRI bank customers will be able to conduct their banking business from any location thanks to the establishment of a virtual branch. Furthermore, the mother also said that BRI always prioritizes customer experience while being able to reach a larger population.
"BRI consistently prioritizes customer experience in every service, BRI's presence in the metaverse world is intended to be a fresh and enjoyable journey for clients," said Handayani in her statement, reported by Kompas, Tuesday (8/2).
"At the same time being able to reach a wider community to carry out different digital transaction services and strong customer service in the future, both online and on-site," said Handayani.
Handayani added, BRI took the initiative to take part in the metaverse in Indonesia by participating in the "Metaverse Indonesia" program which will be showcased by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at the G20 event, next October.

Metaverse Indonesia also commemorates BRI's success as a pioneer bank in Indonesia which is included in the metaverse universe, said Handayani's statement.
Handayani further said that the partnership between BRI and WIR Group was a sincere commitment from both organizations to continue to adapt to digitalization trends in all areas of life, including financial services.
“BRI project in Metaverse Indonesia can also encourage the implementation of the Indonesian G20 theme," said the mother of one child.
