Currently, the late General’s remains are being transported to the funeral parlor at the hospital. Details regarding the final funeral arrangements are still pending a formal decision from his family.
A retired high-ranking officer of the Indonesian Army, Ryamizard Ryacudu held several prominent positions throughout his career, including serving as the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army from 2002 to 2005. His dedication to the country culminated in his appointment as the Minister of Defense under the administration of the 7th President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, serving from 2014 to 2019. Following his tenure, he passed the ministerial mantle to his successor, Prabowo Subianto.
