The most notable performance was observed in the average daily transaction volume, which soared by 23.57 percent to 45.86 billion shares, up from 37.11 billion shares the prior week.
Accompanying this activity, the average daily transaction value also saw a substantial rise of 26.14 percent, reaching IDR 23.06 trillion compared to IDR 18.27 trillion previously. Furthermore, the average daily transaction frequency climbed by 9 percent, totaling 2.55 million transactions, an increase from the 2.34 million transactions recorded the previous week.

Regarding foreign investor participation, the market saw a net purchase value of IDR 11.42 trillion on Friday (May 8). However, when looking at the year-to-date figures, foreign investors have recorded a total net sell of IDR 37.61 trillion. Notably, this figure marks an improvement from the previous week’s total net sell, which stood at IDR 49.87 trillion.
