Rancak Media – , JAKARTA — Shares of PT Sentul City Tbk. (BKSL) have recorded a significant rally amidst the ongoing development of Biotown, an ambitious integrated area envisioned to become Indonesia’s first health city. This strategic project has captivated investor attention, driving robust performance for the property issuer.

He further clarified, “The company has no plans to undertake corporate actions in the near future that would impact the listing of the company’s shares on the Exchange,” in an official information disclosure today.
Previously, BKSL had informed the public about its plans to develop Biotown, an integrated complex poised to become Indonesia’s pioneering health city. Hiramsyah Sambudhy Thaib, President Director of Sentul City, elaborated that Biotown is designed as a comprehensive health ecosystem. It will be built upon five core pillars: medical services, care, pharmaceutical, science, and devices. This holistic approach underscores the company’s commitment to supporting the national development agenda, aligning perfectly with key government priorities.
Moreover, the concept and strategic focus of this integrated health area are in harmony with four priority program sectors of the government: property and industry (specifically smart-green industry), healthcare, digital infrastructure, and renewable energy. This strategic alignment positions Biotown as a project of national importance, attracting potential support and incentives.
“In line with these objectives, Biotown is also being proposed as a Special Economic Zone [SEZ],” Hiramsyah revealed to Bisnis on Wednesday, November 15, 2025. This designation would provide a significant boost to the project’s development and operational framework, offering various economic advantages.
Hiramsyah explained that the SEZ proposal aims to ensure Biotown delivers a greater impact on economic growth while simultaneously enhancing the competitiveness of Indonesia’s national health industry. This strategic move is expected to attract investment and foster innovation within the sector.
“Currently, the company is formulating Biotown’s work plan and business plan in collaboration with international consultants from China, alongside preparing the necessary documentation for the SEZ status application,” he added, indicating the advanced stage of planning and execution.
In terms of financial performance, BKSL reported a significant increase in revenue, reaching Rp836.97 billion for the January-September 2025 period. This represents a robust 96.28% growth compared to the same period last year. The surge in revenue translated directly into stronger profitability.
Correspondingly, BKSL’s net profit for the period also jumped by an impressive 186.22% year-on-year (YoY), rising from Rp25.9 billion to Rp74.15 billion. These strong financial results underscore the company’s operational efficiency and positive trajectory amidst its ambitious development plans.
