Dedy Irawan, the dedicated manager of the AgenBRILink at KDMP, recounts the origins of this financial service. The cooperative initially operated a grocery store, catering to the daily consumption needs of surrounding residents. Recognizing the high volume of local activity and the village’s strategic proximity to the Natar Toll gate, the cooperative management proactively decided to introduce easily accessible financial services for the community.

Today, this cooperative, powered by AgenBRILink, has transformed into a vital hub for community financial activities, effectively functioning as a ‘mini ATM’ for the village. Its presence not only streamlines transactions but also significantly invigorates the local economy, making it more productive and efficient. “Back then, people had to travel to the city to withdraw or deposit money. With AgenBRILink here at the village cooperative, all transactions can be done locally, faster, without queues, and conveniently close by,” Dedy shared.

Through its outlet in Desa Bumisari, the AgenBRILink at KDMP facilitates a wide array of daily transactions. These services include cash withdrawals and deposits, bill payments, e-wallet top-ups, and even the purchase of BRIZZI e-money cards for passing motorists. On average, the outlet records a robust 15 to 20 transactions daily, underscoring its pivotal role in local commerce.

The profound benefits of AgenBRILink‘s presence are further echoed by Diktriansah, Chairman of KDMP Bumisari. He emphasizes that the service delivers a tangible impact on village residents by providing financial access that is easy, fast, and conveniently located near their homes. “The establishment of AgenBRILink also perfectly aligns with the spirit of the cooperative: ‘from members, by members, and for members,’ placing the community at the forefront of village economic development,” Diktriansah stated.

It is important to note that the establishment of KDMP is part of a broader synergy involving the government, State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), and relevant ministries. This collaborative effort aims to accelerate economic equity, create employment opportunities, and strengthen the economic resilience of rural communities. The presence of AgenBRILink, especially when integrated with cooperatives, is expected to further empower communities by making financial services quick, easy, and affordable,” Dhanny concluded, highlighting the enduring impact of these initiatives.
