Sony plans to announce its next Xperia phone on April 14th

According to The Verge, Sony just announced that the upcoming Xperia event will take place on April 14th (via Droid-Life). A message was received from Xperia's YouTube channel banner stating that a new product announcement will be made at 16:30 Japan Standard Time (3:30 EST) or 12:30 PT (or 13:00 PT). ).

The standard gave no real clue as to what was announced, but there has been some gossip about another model, the Xperia 1 III phone, and one about the arrival of the Xperia Compact, which could potentially pop up in Android's response to the iPhone 12 Mini.

The Verge reports that there have been various rumors suggesting a new form for the Xperia 5 and 10 and leaving the Compact altogether. In any case, almost every rumor indicates that users will see a different part in the leading Xperia 1 series.
