Specifications and prices for Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X and 12 Pro cellphones

Rancakmedia.com – Xiaomi has now officially launched its newest cellphone, namely the Xiaomi 12 cellphone in China. There were three versions launched, one of which was specially designed for the Chinese market.

The three variants include the "ordinary" Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro which are equipped with the latest processor from Qualcomm, namely Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

One such variant is the Xiaomi 12X which will only be available in China. Overall, these three phones have many variants in various elements, such as in terms of design and screen.

Xiaomi 12 Pro Mobile Specifications

As the flagship model, Xiaomi 12 Pro presents the most advanced design and specifications. Furthermore, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is the heaviest and most massive smartphone, measuring 163.6 by 74.6 by 8.16 millimeters.

The Xiaomi 12 is available in three different color schemes: black, blue and pink. Interestingly, this phone comes in a Special Green color featuring a faux leather design.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro is equipped with a 6.73-inch AMOLED screen with LTPO technology and is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

The screen refresh rate can be adjusted from 1-120Hz depending on the work being done thanks to LTPO. The screen offers 12-bit 2K color resolution (3,200 × 1,440 pixels) with up to 1,500 nits of brightness.

Turning to the back, the Xiaomi 12 Pro includes three 50 MP cameras, namely a 50 MP main camera with a Sony IMX 707 sensor that supports OIS, a 50 MP telephoto camera and a 50 MP ultrawide camera.

Meanwhile, to meet selfie needs, Xiaomi has also provided this phone with a 32 MP selfie camera housed in a punch hole.

Turning to the hardware segment, Xiaomi 12 Pro is powered by the latest processor from Qualcomm, namely Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with 4nm fabrication. The chip already enables 5G connections. The Xiaomi 12 Pro is supported by a 4,600 battery which allows 120 Watt fast charging.

On Xiaomi 12 Pro, Android 12 is equipped with Xiaomi's latest user interface, MIUI 13. The Chinese version of the Xiaomi 12 Pro comes with three combinations of RAM and storage, each consisting of 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB.

Other specifications of the Xiaomi 12 Pro include Harman Kardon speakers and Dolby Atmos compatibility. Regarding the price, the Xiaomi 12 Pro will be launched in China from January 2022 with the following price tag.

Xiaomi 12 Mobile Specifications

Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro are quite similar in terms of specifications and design. In terms of chipsets, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is powered by these two phones. It's just that the screen size and battery owned by Xiaomi 12 are smaller.

The 6.28-inch AMOLED screen of this phone provides sharp visuals (2,400 x 1,080 pixels). Instead of the 1500 nits of the Xiaomi 12 Pro, the Xiaomi 12 screen has a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a brightness level of up to 1100 nits.

As for the camera, the Xiaomi 12 has a 50 MP Sony IMX 766 sensor on the back, a 13 MP wide-angle camera and a 5 MP macro camera.

Meanwhile, the front camera is the same as the Xiaomi 12 Pro, which is 32 MP. The smaller 4,500 mAh battery capacity is another difference. Xiaomi 12 is supported by 67 Watt (wired) and 50 Watt (wireless) fast charging capabilities.

In terms of design, the Xiaomi 12 comes with a choice of Black, Blue and Pink colors. There is also a Special Green color variation with a fake leather case. The following is a breakdown of the price of the Xiaomi 12 which was launched in China.
