After Leading the National Team Training, Shin Tae-yong Touched on the League Competition - Manager and coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-yong, automatically touched the Indonesian football competition which did not roll over after leading the U22 national team's first training.
The first training for the Indonesian U22 national team lasted for approximately 90 minutes in Field D of the Bung Karno Main Stadium Complex (SUGBK), Monday (20/12/2020) afternoon WIB.
After practice, Shin Tae-yong touched on the competition in League 1 and League 2 which until now has not rolled over since it was first postponed on March 14 2020.
In the latest changes, it is likely that League 1 and League 2 2020 will roll back again in February 2021. That means, the players will have been on holiday competing for 11 months if League 1 and League 2 actually resume in February 2021.
According to Shin Tae-yong, the rivalry that didn't go down completely changed the situation for some players.
"This is the day the players immediately held training on the field after joining the other day," said Shin Tae-yong, taken from the official PSSI website. "Several players who have been on vacation with the club for quite a long time. So, we are currently monitoring their situation," Shin Tae-yong added.
"Throughout focusing on training in Jakarta, we will concentrate on improving the physicality, stamina and strengthening of the players," said Shin Tae-yong. "We want their psychology to be better after focusing on this training," said the coach from South Korea.
Shin Tae-yong summoned 36 players to participate in focusing on the training for the Indonesian U22 national team in preparation for the 2021 SEA Games.
Of the 36 names invited, there were 18 senior players or over 21 years of age. Evan Dimas Darmono, Nadeo Argawinata, Adam Alis, to Ryuji Utomo are four examples of senior players who are called Shin Tae-yong.
Regarding the matter for the U22 group, Shin Tae-yong called many 2019 SEA Games alumni such as Feby Eka Putra, Asnawi Mangkualam Bahar, Nurhidayat Haji Haris, Syahrian Abimanyu, to Egy Maulana Vikri.
The focus on training for the Indonesian U22 national team this time will last for approximately 12 days until 31 December 2020 in Jakarta. However, Shin Tae-yong emphasized that he could not join the Indonesian U22 national team until the end of the training focus.
Because, Shin Tae-yong is planned to go to Spain on Sunday (26/12/2020) to lead the focus on training for the Indonesian U19 national team. The focus on training in Spain is included in the preparation of the Indonesian U19 national team for the 2021 U20 World Cup. Shin Tae-yong's status in Jakarta will later be replaced by his trusted man, Nova Arianto.
