Borussia Dortmund VS Arminia Bielefeld German League Results

Rancakmedia.com – Borussia Dortmund, who appeared to have managed to gain three points against Arminia Bielefeld at Signal Iduna Park, Monday (14/3) WIB. The German League party between Dortmund and Arminia ended with a score of 1-0 thanks to a single goal from Marius Wolf.

Both sides opened the game with the urge to attack. Donyell Malen's effort was stopped by Amos Pieper in front of the Stefan Ortega line in the fifth minute, giving BVB their first real chance.

Dortmund managed to open the scoring in the 21st minute. Taking advantage of Thorgan Hazard's cross, Marius Wolf managed to beat Ortega from close range without much trouble.

After scoring the first goal, Dortmund grew more confident and began to press the Arminia defense even harder. However, a strong Arminia defense made it difficult for Der BVB to produce any serious chances midway through the first half.

The Arminia defense was only breached in the last five minutes of the first half by Dortmund, who set the game up from there. On the second occasion, the home team had several chances to score through Malen and Wolf's play, but were unsuccessful. Halftime score was 1-0.

Dortmund slowed down considerably in the second half. Arminia also started to put pressure on Der BVB's defense and got a chance in the 57th minute. Robin Hack's long-range shot, however, failed to sway Gregor Kobel's defence.

Arminia's aggressive game is difficult for Dortmund to serve. In order to increase the offensive power of his troops, Marco Rose added Erling Haaland, Gio Reyna and Julian Brandt midway through the second half.

BVB results did not improve significantly with the addition of these three players. The reason is, they are still under pressure from Arminia and can only occasionally threaten with counterattacks.

Dortmund's big chance in the second half only resulted when the match went into injury time through Brandt's effort. Dortmund had the chance to extend their lead on Brandt's close-range shot, but it went wide.

Score 1-0 did not change until the referee ended the game. This victory narrowed the gap between Dortmund and the standings, Bayern Munich. There are currently seven points separating the two clubs, with one game remaining for BVB to play.
