Through the Family Hope Program (PHK), Pregnant Women and Toddlers Can Get IDR 3 Million BLT - The government started distributing social assistance (social assistance) this month. One of the contributions is given to pregnant women to toddlers or early childhood 0-6 years.
Citing the Instagram account @kemensosri, Tuesday (12/1), funds for pregnant women and toddlers are provided through the Family Hope Program (PKH). The government has prepared funds of IDR 28.7 trillion to distribute PKH assistance.
Pregnant women and young children will each receive IDR 3 million per year. Besides that, the government will provide funds for school children, people with disabilities, and the elderly (elderly) through PKH assistance.
If broken down, the education group for elementary school children is Rp. 900 thousand per year, junior high school children is Rp. 1.5 million per year, senior high school students are Rp. 2 million per year, persons with severe disabilities are Rp. 2.4 million per year, and the elderly are Rp. 2.4 million per year. .
The assistance will be given in four steps, namely in January, April, July and October 2021. The government will channel the funds through state-owned banks, namely PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, and PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk or BTN.
However, there are obligations that need to be fulfilled for each beneficiary family (KPM) who receive PKH assistance. They must be registered and come to the nearest health and education facility.
In more detail, several obligations in the health sector, including checking the womb for pregnant women, providing nutritional intake, immunization, and weighing toddlers and preschoolers.
Meanwhile, several obligations for KPM in the education section are to register and ensure the arrival of PKH family members to the education unit according to the elementary and secondary school levels. Then, for the social welfare element, namely persons with disabilities and the elderly starting at 70 years.
