Next year the government will open 1 million CPNS vacancies

Next year the government will open 1 million CPNS vacancies - The government has confirmed that it will reopen vacancies for Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) next year. There are at least 1 million vacancies that will be opened for specific formations.

This was stated by the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Tjahjo Kumolo.

According to him, currently there are around 4.2 million civil servants in all of Indonesia, both in the Ministry of Agencies (K/L) to Regional Governments (Pemda). However, that amount is still not enough for some professions.

"Next year we will return more than 1 million (ASN)," he said, taken via the Ministry of Religion's Youtube account, Tuesday (12/29/2020).

Tjahjo explained, the selection of 1 million CPNS will be opened for teacher careers for Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) and health workers starting from doctors to nurses.

For the teaching profession, about 260 thousand formations will be opened according to government needs. Furthermore, for medical personnel, vacancies will be opened for around 100 to several thousand.

"Hopefully through plans and recruitment and others it can be organized, we can record how many ASN we need," he explained.

Initially, Tjahjo, explained that the government decided to increase the minimum wage for civil servants to Rp 9 million per month. According to him, the increase in wages is because the government will increase the performance allowance of civil servants in 2021.

This increase in allowances will be given to all civil servants in Indonesia. In fact, the increase in allowances for civil servants is said to have been reviewed together with the Ministry of Finance.
