Rancak Media – Maritime transportation leader PT TEMAS Tbk (TMAS) has officially announced a dividend payout of Rp 228 billion, equivalent to Rp 4 per share. This distribution represents approximately 40% of the company’s net profit for the 2025 financial year.
According to the President Director of PT TEMAS Tbk, Ricky Effendi, the dividend payout aligns with the company’s policy to distribute cash dividends to shareholders at least once annually. Under current company guidelines, a 30% payout ratio is triggered whenever net profit exceeds Rp 30 billion. The dividend plan for the 2025 financial year was formally ratified during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) held in Jakarta on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
Looking ahead to 2026, the company maintains a bullish outlook, driven by a commitment to strategic pillars including fleet modernization and the development of eco-friendly vessels. Throughout 2025, TMAS successfully added seven new vessels to its fleet, resulting in a 17% increase in overall carrying capacity. The company now operates a total of 57 ships, boasting a combined capacity of 28,542 TEUs and a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 464,701. Notably, the company has also improved its operational efficiency by reducing the average age of its fleet from 15 years in 2023 to 13 years by the end of 2025.
Ganny Zheng, Director of Business Development at PT TEMAS Tbk, emphasized the company’s aggressive expansion plans. To support operational growth, TMAS has earmarked a capital expenditure (capex) budget of Rp 2.5 trillion for 2026. This investment will primarily focus on acquiring new vessels, upgrading current assets, and enhancing port infrastructure and supporting equipment.
A significant portion of the company’s strategy involves diversifying its service portfolio. The firm is currently preparing for the launch of an LNG facility, which is slated to begin operations in the second half of 2026. Furthermore, TMAS continues to build its integrated logistics services and is advancing a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) collaboration with PT Pelindo Terminal Petikemas to expand the Tanjung Priok wharf from 340 meters to 485 meters, securing long-term capacity for future growth.
Strategically, TMAS has set a revenue target of Rp 5.53 trillion for 2026, marking a significant growth of over 27% compared to the Rp 4.34 trillion recorded in 2025. This target is expected to be achieved through optimized capacity, the launch of new routes, and an increased load factor across the entire fleet. Ricky Effendi reaffirmed that despite these growth targets, the company remains steadfast in its dedication to safety and service quality, adhering to the highest national and international shipping standards.
While global geopolitical tensions, particularly in the Middle East, remain a focal point for management, the company does not anticipate a direct impact on its core business. However, TMAS continues to monitor these global dynamics closely, as they remain a key variable influencing fuel price volatility and the stability of the global supply chain.
