Jakarta, IDN Times – The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has announced that a company operating within the entertainment industry is preparing to make its Initial Public Offering (IPO).
I Gede Nyoman Yetna, Director of Company Valuation at the IDX, clarified that this company is involved in the real entertainment sector and animal education, specifically mentioning zoos. “It’s not a production house, but rather something we can genuinely enjoy as entertainment. This means that for children’s education, there’s a zoo, which is something tangible we can experience,” Nyoman stated at the IDX building in South Jakarta on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
1. Company Name Kept Confidential
Despite the exciting news, Nyoman remained tight-lipped about the specific company planning its IPO. However, he indicated that this prospective issuer is poised to raise the largest amount of funds among the companies currently in the IDX’s IPO pipeline. “While there are production houses, if we compare the proceeds, this one will be triple that amount,” Nyoman remarked.
2. 15 Potential IPOs Expected by August 2026
Nyoman further revealed that out of the 15 prospective issuers currently in the IDX’s pipeline, a significant number are expected to go public by August 2026. “Currently, we have 15 in our pipeline. Eleven are categorized as large companies, and four are medium-sized. As I mentioned, these are spread across various sectors,” he explained.
3. RANS Entertainment’s IPO Plans Circulating Since 2023
This announcement has inevitably brought RANS Entertainment, a company owned by Indonesian celebrity Raffi Ahmad, into the spotlight. RANS Entertainment’s IPO plans have been a topic of discussion since 2023. On February 1, 2023, Raffi Ahmad, the founder of RANS Entertainment, stated that the IPO was intended to strengthen the company’s business. “The IPO is in progress. Just wait.
