Rancak Media — PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRIS) has officially announced the distribution of a cash dividend for the 2025 fiscal year. Following the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held on Tuesday, May 5, the company revealed a payout amounting to 20 percent of its total net profit, which equates to approximately Rp 1.51 trillion.
As per the resolution approved by shareholders, the dividend per share is set at Rp 32.81. According to BSI President Director Anggoro Eko Cahyo, the dividend will be distributed proportionally to all shareholders whose names appear on the company’s official registry as of the designated recording date.
This dividend payout represents a significant 44 percent increase compared to the previous year. For the 2024 fiscal year, the company distributed 15 percent of its net profit, totaling Rp 1.05 trillion, with a dividend of Rp 22.78 per share. Management plans to announce the specific timeline and procedural details regarding the distribution process in the near future.
Anggoro noted that the Board of Directors has been granted full authorization to finalize the schedule and procedures for the 2025 dividend payment, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, including the necessary tax withholdings.
Beyond the dividend payout, the remaining 80 percent of the 2025 net profit, totaling Rp 6.05 trillion, has been allocated as retained earnings to support the company’s ongoing business development. BSI demonstrated a robust performance throughout 2025, with growth in assets, financing, and Third-Party Funds (DPK) consistently outpacing the national banking industry average. Notably, Third-Party Funds surged by 16.20 percent year-on-year (yoy) to reach Rp 380 trillion.
The company’s financial intermediation also showed strong momentum, with total financing growing by 12.58 percent yoy to Rp 318 trillion. This figure significantly outperformed both the national banking sector’s financing growth of 7.74 percent yoy and the broader Islamic banking sector’s growth of 7.67 percent yoy.
Driven by this stellar operational performance, BSI’s net profit climbed 8.02 percent yoy, reaching Rp 7.57 trillion in 2025. By the end of December 2025, the company’s total assets stood at Rp 456 trillion, marking a healthy year-on-year increase of 11.64 percent.
