Rancak Media – JAKARTA — The Indonesia Central Securities Depository (KSEI) announced that the financial sector emerged as the largest dividend contributor throughout 2025, distributing a substantial total of Rp80.34 trillion. This significant payout underscores the sector’s robust performance and its critical role in the nation’s capital market.

Samsul Hidayat, President Director of KSEI, elaborated that in 2025, KSEI facilitated no less than 7,610 corporate action distribution activities, with an impressive cumulative value nearing Rp491 trillion. Among these myriad actions, 480 specifically involved the distribution of dividends to shareholders.

“For the 2025 data, the sector that provided the largest dividends was the financial or banking sector, amounting to Rp80.3 trillion,” Samsul stated during the year-end capital market press conference held in Jakarta on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. This declaration further solidified the financial sector’s leading position in shareholder returns.

Following the financial sector, the energy and coal sector secured the second-highest position, with dividends totaling Rp27.95 trillion. The infrastructure and integrated telecommunication services sector closely followed, distributing Rp20.18 trillion.

Other significant contributors included the industrials and multi-sector holdings sector, which disbursed Rp10.48 trillion, and the infrastructures-wireless telecommunications services sector, with a dividend payout of Rp10.46 trillion. These figures highlight the diverse landscape of dividend distributions within the Indonesian market.

In related news concerning recent dividend announcements, PT Rukun Raharja Tbk. (RAJA), an affiliate of Happy Hapsoro, has scheduled an interim cash dividend distribution. The company plans to disburse Rp105.67 billion, equivalent to Rp25 per share, for the fiscal year 2025. RAJA has assured stakeholders that this interim dividend will not compromise the company’s financial stability or have any material or operational adverse impact.

Similarly, PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk. (ADRO), an affiliate of Garibaldi ‘Boy’ Thohir, also revealed its intention to distribute a total of US$250 million in interim dividends to its shareholders. According to an official information disclosure, ADRO confirmed this interim dividend for the 2025 fiscal year. The exact dividend per share for this interim payout has yet to be determined by the company.

Notably, ADRO’s interim cash dividend will be disbursed in Indonesian Rupiah, with the conversion rate based on Bank Indonesia’s middle exchange rate as of January 2, 2026. These announcements from key players underscore a dynamic period for dividend payouts in the Indonesian capital market.
