(ADRO), PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk. (INDF), and PT United Tractors Tbk. (UNTR), were key drivers behind this positive momentum.

This strong performance stood in stark contrast to the broader Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG), which experienced a dip, closing down 0.68% at 8,618.19. Throughout the trading day, the IHSG navigated a range between 8,730.71 and 8,618.19. A detailed look at its constituents revealed a mixed bag, with 266 stocks advancing, 431 weakening, and 261 remaining stagnant.

According to data from IDX Mobile, the Business-27 Index, a daily collaboration between Bisnis Indonesia and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), posted a gain of 0.48%, adding 2.67 points to settle at 554.22. Within this specific index, 13 stocks saw increases, 13 declined, and 1 stock remained unchanged.

The Business-27 Index moved within an intraday range of 553.18 to 557.29. Market activity for the day recorded transactions totaling 5.33 billion shares, with a substantial value of Rp6.71 trillion. The index concluded the session with an impressive market capitalization of Rp4,179 trillion.

Among the top-performing constituent stocks that propelled the index today was PT Adaro Energy Tbk. (ADRO), which surged 4.68% to Rp1,900. Also contributing positively were PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk. (AMRT), rising 0.26% to Rp1,915, and PT Aneka Tambang Tbk. (ANTM), closing up 0.26% at Rp3,110.

Further strengthening the Business-27 Index were Indonesia’s leading banking stocks. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BBCA) saw its shares climb 1.87% to Rp8,175, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBNI) gained 0.23% to Rp4,380, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBRI) increased 0.80% to Rp3,780, and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. (BMRI) rose 2.49% to Rp5,150.

The positive trend extended to other key players, with PT Vale Indonesia Tbk. (INCO) marking a significant jump of 11.22% to Rp4,360. PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk. (INDF) also saw an increase of 1.48% to Rp6,875, while PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk. (MIKA) advanced 0.82% to Rp2,450, and PT Mayora Indah Tbk. (MYOR) closed up 0.47% at Rp2,120.

Rounding out the list of top gainers were PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk. (NCKL), which closed 0.99% higher at Rp1,020, and PT United Tractors Tbk. (UNTR), ending the trading day with a strong 3.30% increase to Rp28,975.

Throughout the third week of December 2025, the Business-27 Index demonstrated resilience, closing higher on three trading days with only one day experiencing a correction. The index’s current level reflects a robust 1.36% growth over the past week and a 0.55% increase over the last month, underscoring its consistent performance.

The Business-27 Index’s robust showing today significantly outpaced the broader composite index. The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) concluded the trading day with a 0.68% correction, settling at 8,618.19.
