Malindo Feedmill (MAIN) siap tebar dividen Rp52 per saham

JAKARTA – PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk (MAIN) has officially announced a dividend distribution of Rp52 per share, following the approval granted during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) held on Monday, May 25, 2026. This decision follows a strong fiscal performance in 2025, during which the company recorded a net profit of Rp393.5 billion.

Malindo Director Rudy Hartono highlighted the company’s solid financial trajectory throughout the year. In 2025, Malindo reported a gross profit of Rp1.29 trillion, while the current year’s profit reached Rp393.59 billion, with comprehensive income rising to Rp395.08 billion. The company’s balance sheet remains robust, supported by total assets of Rp5.70 trillion, liabilities of Rp2.31 trillion, temporary syirkah funds of Rp518.09 billion, and total equity standing at Rp2.88 trillion.

“During the AGM, shareholders approved the allocation of profits, confirming a dividend payout of Rp52 per share,” Hartono stated on Monday.

Operationally, Malindo maintained a growth trend in 2025. Net sales for the year reached Rp12.69 trillion, a 1.52% increase—or Rp190.04 billion—compared to the Rp12.50 trillion recorded in 2024. This growth was primarily driven by a 18.75% increase in broiler chicken sales (Rp432.53 billion), a 12.94% rise in processed food sales (Rp16.64 billion), and a 6.12% uptick in other revenue streams (Rp31.39 billion).

The positive momentum carried into the first quarter of 2026. Net sales for Q1 2026 reached Rp3.69 trillion, marking a significant increase of Rp526.86 billion, or 16.61%, year-on-year. Animal feed sales grew by 10.92% (Rp206.91 billion), while sales of day-old chicks/ducklings surged by 69.20%, rising from Rp477.77 billion to Rp808.39 billion by the end of March 2026. Despite a slight decline in broiler sales and other minor segments, the company’s gross profit for Q1 2026 climbed to Rp402.73 billion, up 22.79% from the same period in 2025. Consequently, net profit for the first quarter of 2026 reached Rp123.28 billion, driven largely by stabilizing prices for day-old chicks and broilers.

Looking ahead, Malindo remains cautious of market dynamics. The company acknowledges that supply and demand fluctuations, volatile raw material prices for animal feed, and the weakening of the Indonesian Rupiah against the US Dollar remain key challenges. In response to these headwinds and intensifying industry competition, Malindo has outlined a comprehensive strategy for 2026 centered on operational efficiency and stringent cost management.

Key strategic initiatives include expanding solar panel installations to optimize energy efficiency and mitigate rising global energy costs. Furthermore, the company plans to refine raw material utilization and feed formulations to buffer production costs against global commodity volatility. While aiming to capture growth in domestic and export markets—where the poultry industry outlook remains promising—Malindo is also accelerating its digital transformation to enhance long-term operational productivity.

These measures are designed to ensure Malindo remains resilient and competitive, despite the persistent uncertainties surrounding global economic conditions and commodity prices.
