JAKARTA – Renowned value investor Lo Kheng Hong was spotted attending the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPST) of PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk. (RALS), held on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 10:00 WIB.
As a major shareholder, Lo Kheng Hong confirmed his participation in the company’s 2026 strategic agenda. He currently holds 200,330,700 shares of RALS, a stake that places him firmly among the company’s top shareholders with ownership exceeding 1%.
This high-profile attendance comes amid a challenging financial period for the retail giant. According to the company’s financial report for the year ending December 31, 2025, Ramayana Lestari Sentosa faced a decline in performance compared to the previous year. The company recorded a net revenue of Rp2.36 trillion, a 14.31% decrease year-on-year from the Rp2.76 trillion reported in 2024. This revenue was primarily generated from direct sales totaling Rp1.72 trillion and consignment sales commissions amounting to Rp642.94 billion.
The drop in revenue inevitably impacted the company’s bottom line. RALS reported a 15.53% year-on-year decline in profit for the current year, falling from Rp314.05 billion in 2024 to Rp265.28 billion in 2025. Consequently, earnings per share for RALS dropped from Rp52.9 to Rp44.73.
Operational pressures were also evident in the company’s expense structure. Throughout 2025, RALS recorded several significant costs, including Rp1.12 trillion in cost of goods sold, Rp80.02 billion in sales expenses, and Rp1.08 trillion in general and administrative expenses. Additionally, the company incurred financial expenses of Rp25.83 billion and income tax expenses of Rp23.23 billion. As part of its efforts to streamline operations, the company also reported a reduction in its workforce, employing 2,968 people in 2025 compared to 3,395 in 2024.
Despite these headwinds, the company maintains a stable balance sheet. As of December 31, 2025, Ramayana Lestari Sentosa reported total assets of Rp4.76 trillion, against total liabilities of Rp1.27 trillion and equity of Rp3.49 trillion.
