BMHS: Dividend Announcement & New Hospital Acquisition Strategy

JAKARTA – Amidst the robust performance of PT Bundamedik Tbk. (BMHS) throughout the first nine months of 2025, the prominent hospital issuer is reportedly exploring various expansion strategies. Concurrently, BMHS is committed to maintaining shareholder loyalty through its dividend distribution policy.

Cuncun Wijaya, Director of Bundamedik, highlighted the company’s ambitious target of achieving double-digit revenue growth in 2025. This forward-looking projection aligns seamlessly with BMHS’s strong operational performance witnessed throughout the first nine months of 2025.

Given its solid performance in 2025, Cuncun noted that BMHS anticipates distributing dividends equivalent to a maximum of 30% of its net profit for the 2025 financial year.

“Our dividends are certainly in line with our performance; we aim for them to be higher each year,” Cuncun stated during BMHS’s public presentation on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. He further clarified, “However, we have a commitment outlined in our IPO prospectus, which is a maximum of 30% of the previous year’s profit.”

For the 2024 financial year, BMHS disbursed cash dividends totaling IDR 5.59 billion. This significant payout represented 46.81% of the IDR 11.94 billion in total profit attributable to the parent entity’s owners.

To ensure robust revenue and net profit growth throughout 2025, Cuncun emphasized that Bundamedik will intensify its focus on maternal and child healthcare services for the remainder of the year. This strategic emphasis will be powered by the specialized expertise of Bundamedik’s doctors and the advanced robotic technology already deployed across several of the company’s hospitals.

Furthermore, the company anticipates a surge in demand for medical check-ups (MCUs) towards the end of the year. Historically, Cuncun noted, demand for these essential services experiences significant growth during the final quarter.

“For laboratory and diagnostic services, we typically penetrate the MCU market every year-end through both business-to-business and retail channels,” Cuncun explained. “Market demand for these services usually peaks at the end of the year.”

Looking ahead, BMHS is also openly considering the acquisition of new hospitals to strategically expand Bundamedik’s portfolio. Agus Heru Darjono, President Director of Bundamedik, revealed that the company has already established a comprehensive five-year roadmap for this ambitious expansion initiative.

Agus affirmed that within this detailed roadmap, Bundamedik has concrete plans to add more hospitals. Currently, the company is actively identifying regions with the potential to drive new growth opportunities for BMHS.

“Our roadmap indeed includes plans to increase our hospital count, whether through greenfield development or the acquisition of existing hospitals,” he elaborated during the same event. “Therefore, the possibility of acquisitions is a definite part of our five-year program.”

It’s worth noting that BMHS reported revenues of IDR 1.15 trillion as of September 2025. This figure, however, reflects a slight year-on-year (YoY) decrease of 0.17% compared to the IDR 1.15 trillion recorded during the same period in 2024.

The marginal decline in the company’s revenue was primarily due to a synchronized contraction across both of BMHS’s revenue segments. For instance, the healthcare services segment generated only IDR 1.22 trillion as of September 2025, falling short of the IDR 1.64 trillion achieved by December 2024. Similarly, other segments contributed only IDR 143.30 billion in revenue by September 2025.

Despite these revenue challenges, after accounting for various expenses and taxes, BMHS successfully recorded a net profit attributable to the parent entity of IDR 12.24 billion as of September 2025, marking a 3.84% year-on-year (YoY) growth. This net profit improved from IDR 11.79 billion reported in the corresponding period of 2024.
