Lin Jarvis believes he has made the right decision by ousting Jorge Lorenzo – Managing Director of the Yamaha MotoGP Team, Lin Jarvis, completely believes that he has made the right decision by kicking Jorge Lorenzo as a test rider, aka test racer.

The test status of the racer at Yamaha now belongs to a former MotoGP rider from England, Cal Crutchlow.

Taken from Motorsport.com, Lin Jarvis feels his decision to bring in Crutchlow as a test rider is the right thing.

Jarvis believes that feedback from Crutchlow and several regular Yamaha riders in MotoGP can be a way out for the team's gripping problems this year.

"Next year, bringing in Cal Crutchlow to the team is a sign of our will (to improve)," said Jarvis.

"We really believe we have made the most options, very good with Cal. I believe Cal is a real employee, he is really hungry to get involved in this project."

"We haven't made the same mistake twice, we are definitely running a more intense testing program next year and we believe, with this engineering overhaul, we have a lot of information earlier this year," he explained.

"So, our mechanics will replace the chassis next year and they will work to fix this problem."

"In addition to the return pass from Cal and our pre-season test, we are quite confident that we can fix this problem next year," said Jarvis again.
