Rancakmedia.com – The share price of BBCA Issuer Bank Djarum Group PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, jumped again on the second day of trading with a new nominal post-stock split today, Thursday (14/10/2021). Foreign investors also rushed to buy BBCA shares.
Based on statistics from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), at 10:04 WIB, BBCA shares jumped 4.65% to IDR 7,875/share with a transaction value of IDR 493.6 billion which is the largest on the stock exchange. Foreign investors also made a net buy of IDR 178.1 billion, also the largest on the stock market.
With this increase, BBCA's share price again penetrated its all-time high, which was just penetrated at the end of trading on Wednesday (13/10).
BBCA Share Price Rises
Yesterday, BBCA's share price closed up 2.73 percent to IDR 7,525/share. The last time BBCA shares reached their highest level was at market closing on January 11, 2021 which ended at IDR 7,345/share (adjusted for post-stock split prices).
The market capitalization value of BBCA's shares - which incidentally is the largest on the stock exchange - is Rp 970.79 trillion.
As is known, on Wednesday, BCA officially set a new stock split price with a ratio of 1:5.
BBCA President Director Jahja Setiaatmadja said, with the new price taking effect from today, the company hopes that BCA's share price will be quite cheap and will receive a positive reaction from investors.
"Especially inexperienced investors who are currently actively participating in the stock market," he told CNBC Indonesia, Wednesday (13/10/2021).
The company, said Jahja, is dedicated to maintaining BCA's fundamental stability through sustainable performance growth, thereby providing added value to all shareholders.
Meanwhile, the nominal value per BBCA share before the stock split was IDR 62.5, while the nominal value per BBCA share after the stock split was IDR 12.5.
As scheduled, Tuesday (12/10/2021) is the last trading day for BBCA shares to be traded at their previous nominal value on the normal market and the negotiating market.
Furthermore, BBCA's share price with a new par value began to be traded on the normal market and the negotiating market today. For information, the share price broke a record on Wednesday at around Rp 7,320 per share, or the equivalent of Rp 36,600 per share before the stock split.
Furthermore, shares with a new nominal value resulting from a stock split will be handed over by PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) to shareholders on October 15, 2021.
