This initial weakness was primarily driven by bearish sentiment affecting key constituent stocks such as ANTM, BRMS, and KLBF.
According to data released by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), this prominent index, a collaborative effort with the daily Bisnis Indonesia, saw its value decline to 480.86. Throughout the morning’s trading, the index fluctuated within a range of 477.69 to 481.29, reflecting the prevailing market cautiousness.

Similarly, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk. (BRMS), a Bakrie Group entity, also saw its shares weaken by 2.40%, trading at Rp815 per share. Following suit, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk. (KLBF) shares were down 1.67% to Rp885 per share during the morning session.

Conversely, some stocks managed to defy the broader market weakness. Shares of MEDC showed strength, gaining 1.58% to reach Rp1,610.
