JAKARTA — PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BSI) has officially announced a cash dividend distribution of IDR 1.51 trillion for the 2025 financial year, equivalent to IDR 32.81 per share. This resolution was formally approved during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held in Jakarta on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
This year’s dividend payout marks a significant increase compared to the previous year. For the 2024 financial year, BSI distributed IDR 1.05 trillion, or IDR 22.78 per share. The dividend announced this year represents 20% of the company’s total net profit for 2025, while the remaining 80%, totaling IDR 6.05 trillion, will be retained as earnings.
BSI President Director Anggoro Eko Cahyo confirmed that the dividend distribution will be carried out in strict accordance with prevailing regulations. During the press conference, he stated, “The dividend for the 2025 financial year will be paid proportionally to each shareholder whose name is recorded in the official shareholder register as of the designated recording date.”
The Board of Directors has been granted the authority to manage the technical implementation of the distribution, including setting the schedule, determining procedural steps, and overseeing tax withholdings in compliance with current tax laws.
The decision to increase dividend payouts follows a year of strong financial performance. Throughout 2025, BSI recorded a net profit of IDR 7.57 trillion, reflecting an 8.02% year-on-year (YoY) increase from the IDR 7.00 trillion reported in 2024.
This positive trajectory was driven by consistent growth across key operational indicators. Financing grew by a robust 14.49% YoY to reach IDR 319 trillion, while Third-Party Funds (DPK) saw a 16.20% YoY increase, climbing to IDR 380 trillion.
