Bisnis-27 Index Slumps as Shares of JPFA, AMRT, and DSNG Decline

 

JAKARTA — The Bisnis-27 Index closed in the red on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, sliding 0.38% to settle at 469.16. The index’s downward momentum was largely driven by significant losses in key components, including JPFA, AMRT, and DSNG.

According to data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the index—developed in partnership with Bisnis Indonesia—fluctuated between a range of 465.84 and 473.60 throughout the trading session. Of the 27 constituent stocks, only eight managed to close in positive territory, while 19 others faced selling pressure.

Leading the decline was PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk. (JPFA), which plunged 7.11% to Rp2,350 per share. The downward trend extended to PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk. (AMRT), which dropped 5.69% to Rp1,325 per share, and PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk. (DSNG), which fell 4.84% to Rp1,170 per share.

Other notable decliners included ADRO, which weakened by 3.98% to Rp2,410, MAPI, which fell 3.01% to Rp1,290, and MIKA, which retreated 2.94% to Rp1,980 per share. Despite the broad market correction, a few stocks bucked the trend: BBNI rose 1.88% to Rp3,790, BUMI gained 1.79% to Rp228, and PGEO increased by 1.49% to Rp1,025 per share.

In line with the performance of the Bisnis-27, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) also ended the day lower, falling 0.48% to 7,072.39. Market activity remained heavy, with 31.7 billion shares traded, generating a total transaction value of Rp17.3 trillion. By the closing bell, 339 stocks posted gains, 350 stocks finished in the red, and 129 stocks remained stagnant, bringing the total market capitalization of the IHSG to Rp12,617 trillion.
