OxygenOS Update for OnePlus 7 and 7T

OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro received their stable update to OxygenOS 11.0.0.2 based on Android 11. There is no confirmation regarding which regions will receive the update. However, OnePlus has stated that the rollout is not region-specific and will be passed on to users at random.

OnePlus 7 OxygenOS update comes with the Android security patch released in March 2021. OnePlus has previously introduced the Android 11 update for this phone but there are a few bugs that this update is hoping to fix.

The OnePlus Community Forums had a post on Friday detailing the changelog for the OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro OxygenOS Update. The smartphone will receive the OxygenOS 11 update based on Android 11 and Android security patches from March 2021.

In a forum post about OxygenOS update On the latest 11.0.0.2, Abdul B. of OxygenOS Operations said: “We started with the release of the hotfix build 11.0.0.2, which replaces the previous version. This staged rollout fixes some unexpected bugs in the original version of Android 11 and updates security patches. “The four phones are said to have received their Android 11 update at the end of last month.

The Chinese giant announced that from 2019 onwards, its smartphone series will receive system upgrades, camera improvements, ambient display features, improved dark mode, room upgrades, redesigned shelves, and new features for application the gallery. The OnePlus 7 series was launched in May 2019 and both smartphones run OxygenOS based on Android 9 Pie. Both smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC and have up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. While the OnePlus 7 has a 6.41-inch Full HD+ display with a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera, the OnePlus 7 Pro has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a foldable selfie camera.

While the OnePlus 7T Pro has an identical display to the OnePlus 7 Pro, the OnePlus 7T has a 6.55-inch liquid AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a water-drop style notch.
