We know a lot more about this phone, as the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G has been spotted at various certification bodies including the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Wi-Fi Alliance, and Bluetooth SIG. The Samsung Galaxy A42 has also been seen in some of these offerings, though more details on these phones are still awaited.

The phone with model number SM-M426B/DS is listed on the Samsung India support page. This model number is supposedly of the Galaxy M42 5G as the same model recently received the required BIS certification. In addition to the BIS certification, the Galaxy M42 5G was also spotted some time ago with Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG certifications.

Last year, the same smartphone received 3C and DEKRA certification. This latest phone is said to run under Android 11 and has a 64 megapixel rear camera with 128 GB storage capacity and 6000 mAh battery capacity. Further details about the technical data of the Galaxy M42 5G are not yet known.

While we wait for more information about the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G and Galaxy A42 5G which are expected to launch soon, Samsung has been consolidating its mid-range portfolio with a number of new devices.
