This result left Ronald Koeman's Barcelona in 6th place in the Spanish League standings.

Having just collected 25 points in 15 appearances, Barcelona is 7 points short of Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, who top the Spanish League standings.

Atletico Madrid has only played 13 times while Real Madrid has played 15 times.

The 2020-2021 Spanish League is not halfway there yet so mathematically, the point deficit from Atletico Madrid should still be possible for Barcelona to catch up with.
