In the second half, AC Milan started the second 45 minutes by changing five players at once. However, the stalemate in the attacks made Stefano Pioli make another change in the 61st minute.

The coach brought in Olivier Giroud, Davide Calabria, Theo Hernandez and Ante Rebic to replace Rafael Leao, Andrea Conti, Fode Ballo-Toure and Brahim Diaz.

The entry of Theo Hernandez adds explosive power. In the 75th minute, the left-back fired in a free kick which was aimed at Olivier Giroud. Unfortunately, Giroud failed to control the ball properly so the joke opportunity was wasted.
