The limited PTM rules will take effect in July 2021 to coincide with the new academic year. "We are targeting vaccination for teachers and education personnel to be completed in June 2021 so that all teaching units can offer limited PTM options throughout the new guidance year in July 2021," said PMK Coordinating Minister Muhadjir Effendy via a YouTube broadcast on the channel. Ministry of Education and Culture RI, Tuesday (30/3/2021).

Minister of Education and Culture Nadiem Makarim expressed similar sentiments in a broadcast with the theme Announce a Joint Decision Regarding the Basis for Implementing Evaluation During the COVID-19 Outbreak. Vaccinations given since the beginning of 2021 offer limited options to speed up PTM.

"After teaching and education staff have completed vaccination, the government requires teaching units to offer limited PTM services through the implementation of health procedures, and there is still the option of PJJ," said Nadiem.

Following are the Limited PTM Conditions in Schools as of July 2021:

1. Class conditions

  1. SMA, SMK, MA, MAK, SMP, MTs, SD, MI and equivalent programs maintain a minimum distance of 1,5 meters. and optimally 18 students per class
  2. SDLB, MILB, SMPLB, MTsLB and SMLB, MALB maintain a minimum distance of 1,5 meters. and optimally five students per class
  3. PAUD maintains a minimum distance of 1 meter. and optimally five students per class
  4. 2. The number of evaluation days and hours for PTM is limited to being determined by the teaching unit, with the safety of the school community still being the main focus

3. The attitude must be in all schools if PTM is limited

  1. Use of three-layer or single-layer cloth masks (surgical)
  2. Clean your hands with soap and running water or use hand sanitizer
  3. Keep a minimum distance of 1,5 meters. and no physical contact such as shaking hands or kissing hands
  4. Etiquette when sneezing or coughing.

4. The health condition of the school community

  1. A. If you are healthy, if you have comorbidities, you must be monitored
  2. There are no signs of COVID-19, including people who live in the same house as residents of the teaching unit

5. The canteen may not work during the first 2 months of implementing limited PTM

6. Sports and extracurricular activities should not be carried out at school, but it is recommended to always do physical activities at home

7. Activities except studying within the school environment are not permitted during the 2 month transition period

8. Learning activities outside the teaching unit are permitted subject to health procedures.
