This has to do with recent reports that chocolate in some foods sold in Europe may contain bacteria.

Notification of Kinder Joy Distribution in Indonesia

This bacteria produces moderate symptoms such as diarrhea, fever, and stomach ache. The chocolate used in Kinder Joy products in Europe is certainly different from that used in Indonesia, but BPOM has temporarily banned the distribution of Kinder brand products to ensure that the products do not contain bacterial contamination.

This information was conveyed directly by BPOM officially, before this product, it was known that India was the source of Kinder Joy, Kinder Joy for Boys and Kinder Joy for Girls products which were registered under the BPOM brand.

“As long as there is no Salmonella bacterial contamination found in the product. The suspension of distribution is also monitored and ensured by BPOM in accordance with applicable procedures as stated in the claim.

In the future, BPOM will carry out random sampling and testing throughout Indonesia on the products in question.

When people find Kinder chocolate products that are not registered, they ask for donations through the Consumer Complaints Service Unit or HALOBPOM Contact Center, because of this.

"BPOM continues to carry out monitoring before the product is distributed and after the product is distributed to monitor food safety, quality and nutrition," said a written statement.

He also appealed to the public to be informed buyers and not be easily persuaded by circulating concerns.
